In compliance with the Timely Warning provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) Grand Canyon University Public Safety Department is providing notification of reported vehicle burglaries in Building 55/29th Ave Parking Garage and Building 44/31st Ave Parking Garage that occurred over the weekend. Prevention Information: Keep vehicles locked and secured all times. Report any and all suspicious activity in and around parking garages to Public Safety at (602) 639-8100 as soon as possible.

Update 09/24/2024: In response to these recent events, GCU Public Safety personnel will be increasing patrols in the garages. We are working closely with the Phoenix Police Department to identify and arrest the suspects involved. We are also contracting with off-duty Phoenix Police Officers to patrol these areas in the coming days. A mobile surveillance camera will also be deployed in the area.
