It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share with you that a GCU student was found deceased Friday night in his dorm room.

Immediate family, as well as his GCU suitemates, have been notified. There was no threat to students or campus safety.

The Office of Student Care has been in contact with his suitemates and friends to offer support and counseling. Pastor Tim Griffin’s office and Student Affairs staff are also available on the second floor of Building 26, at 602-639-7007 or at [email protected] to assist anyone who needs support.

As the GCU family joins together to mourn the tragic loss of this student, we ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and know that God is always there for us.
