On August 11th, 2026, GCU Public Safety issued an AlertGCU notification regarding a power outage. Public Safety was notified by SRP that they were working on restoring the power and the estimated time was 3:16 AM.

GCU Public Safety sent out an update on AlertGCU advising the power was restored at 4:39 AM.
